These are among 175 children lucky enough to attend Ecole le Bon Samaritain (Ecole LBS) in the Waney neighborhood of Carrefour, Haiti. Ecole LBS was founded in 1996 by Fr. Jean-Elie Millien (an Episcopal priest) and his wife Mona after retiring from active ministry. The Milliens are so committed to educating children in their neighborhood, that they turned their home into the school.
This website is a small window on Ecole LBS and the teachers and students there. It is also a way for you to learn about the plight of children in Haiti and how you might help make a huge difference in the life and future of a few children.
